It's the little things that make a house a home :)
From MUSTARD to TUSCAN!
My Honey Caramel paint looked mustard yellow with the lighting in the room.. I
HATED IT. SO…
I bought one gallon of this glaze.
I also bought one quart of paint .
I found a faux sea sponge roller at Wal-Mart.
I mixed the paint and glaze together- 1 gallon of glaze to 1 quart of paint. I then rolled the mixture on with a regular paint roller and then removed some of the glaze using a sea sponge roller. They recommend painting a basecoat, but mine was about a year old, so I used the mustard.

I LOVE the warm Tuscan feel of our home now! Check out the before and after :)

The Guest Bathroom Mirror Makeover
I used Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations to redo the vanity. There was enough to do the vanity, the wall shelf, 2 mantel shelves and the mirror frame with still plenty left over to do the fireplace mantel- eventually.
No more BRASS
I used Rustoleum High Heat spray paint to paint the insert. While I was at it I painted the vents in a hammered black. My next project will probably be using the Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations on the mantel so that it matches the rest of the wood in the house. The mantel is toooooooooo light :/
I will also attempt staining the brick to a chicory color.

Not just for cabinets :)
We found these shelves that look like small mantels. I used the Rustoleum Cabinet Transformations on them. I was pleased. They were a flat white- a dirty flat white- and they needed something.
